「強く非難する」という単語に、"blast[blaest]" を使った英文です。

アメリカのウィリアム・バー司法長官は、2016年の大統領選において、トランプ陣営とロシアとの関係に関するFBIの調査を厳しく非難しました。(PBS Newsour 12/10/2019）
・blast ：criticize fiercely（厳しく批判する）
「非難する」だと、blame、 criticize、あたりを思い浮かべますが、
blastはそれをさらに激しくした印象です。
一言で強い非難の気持ちが表せる単語です。
（例文）The critics have blasted her latest book.
批評家たちは彼女の最新作を痛烈にこきおろした。
blastは、名詞では、突風、爆破、警笛、などの意味があります。
