Hello everyone! My name is Minori Oota, a Japanese food coordinator living in Amami Oshima, Japan. I have been using crowdfunding to raise 2,000,000 JPY in 60 days for my project: “Selling additive-free chiffon cakes contained Amami-grown pure brown sugar to the American market” (https://readyfor.jp/projects/minorimama) and have 9 days to go. (This project will close on Mon 28th July 11:00 pm JST)

Crowdfunding is a funding method that is the practice of raising funds from two or more people over the Internet towards a common project. The project would be funded only if the raised goal is achieved 100%, otherwise the campaign creator is required to refund all donations to their donors with the project abandoned.

As you know, I have been serving “additive-free cake” contained pure brown sugar which is a specialty product from Amami Oshima, homemade dishes and sweets to the guests of our scuba diving shop as well as local people at an local community event.

This project planning to deal in the chiffon cake at the Farmers Market, LA closely connects to the problems of poverty and obesity for the United States of America. There is no choice for the people suffering from poverty to live on a diet low in nutrients containing more food additive. I therefore communicate the importance of diet through the safe and affordable chiffon cake to you and must develop and offer the continuable food life to raise awareness about food education.
The chiffon cake I bake only contains Amami pure brown sugar, TAIHAKU sesame oil that is difficult to oxidize due to no antioxidants in its ingredients, eggs from local farmers and mineral water. I will intent to sell the non-oil chiffon cake for low-calorie and low-cost.
With that, I have been asking your support on the preparation expense of 2 million JPY: the cost of passage to LA, permits and licenses from the local government and still have a fund shortage of \690,000 JPY.
Your support for my project would be greatly appreciated. Contributions can basically be made by credit card transactions on the Internet and also, pledge \50,000JPY or more can be made by means of a bank transfer.
